Removal and Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
  2. Drain the engine coolant. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
  3. Remove the RH running board brackets.
  4. Remove the 4 heater hose front and rear clamps.
  5. Remove the auxiliary line front bracket.
  6. Remove the auxiliary line rear bracket nut.
  7. Remove the auxiliary line rear bracket.
  8. Remove the 3 auxiliary line center bracket bolts.
  9. Remove the 3 auxiliary line center brackets.
  10. Remove the auxiliary heater outlet line.
  11. Remove the auxiliary heater inlet line.
  12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Lubricate the coolant hoses with plain water only, if needed.
  13. Fill the engine coolant level. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
