Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Remove the 2 passenger door frame scuff plates.
  3. Remove the passenger side interior kick panel.
  4. Disconnect the inertia fuel shutoff (IFS) switch electrical connector.
  5. Remove the bolts and the IFS switch
    • To install, tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
