TEST A: DTCs B1987, B1988 &/OR B1989 PEDAL FORWARD/REARWARD MOTOR STALLED

- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect adjustable pedals control switch connector C2089. Measure resistance between adjustable pedals control switch terminals No. 7 (Pink/Black wire) and No. 2 (Orange/Light Green wire), while pressing adjustable pedals control switch in forward position. Measure resistance between adjustable pedals control switch terminals No. 1 (Light Blue/Red wire) and No. 2 (Orange/Light Green wire). See Fig 1. If resistance is greater than 10 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is less than 10 ohms, replace adjustable pedals control switch and test system operation.
- If pedals are in the fully forward position (toward front of vehicle), go to next step. If pedals are in the fully rearward position (toward driver), go to step 4.
- Disconnect adjustable pedals control switch connector C2089. Measure voltage between harness connector C2089 terminal No. 7 (Pink/Black wire) and ground. See Fig 1. If battery voltage is not present, go to next step. If battery voltage is present, repair short to power in Pink/Black wire and clear DTCs. Test system operation.
- Disconnect Driver Seat Module connector A341c. Measure voltage between harness connector A341c terminal No. 7 (Light Blue/Dark Green wire) and ground. See Fig 2. If voltage is not present, go to next step. If voltage is present, repair short to power in Light Blue/Black wire and clear DTCs. Test system operation.
- Disconnect adjustable pedals control switch connector C2089. Measure voltage between harness connector C2089 terminal No. 1 (Light Blue/Red wire) and ground. See Fig 1. If battery voltage is not present, replace Driver Seat Module and test system operation. If battery voltage is present, repair short to power in Light Blue/Red wire and clear DTCs. Test system operation.
