Removal and Installation

CAUTION:
When removing upper body mounts, all other body mount support bolts must be loose before raising the vehicle body from the frame, to prevent damage occurring to the vehicle.
NOTE:
Do not reuse body support mounting fasteners. New fasteners must be installed for each fastener that has been removed or loosened.
NOTE:
No lubricants of any kind are to be used during body mount support installation.
- Position the rear storage compartment trim cover open and remove the body insulator plug button.
- Remove the body support bolt.
- To install, tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
- Remove the body support washer.
- Remove the lower body support mount.
- Loosen but do not remove all of the remaining body bolts in the passenger compartment.
- Carefully raise the vehicle body enough to remove the upper body mount.
- Remove the upper body mount.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
