Removal and Installation

CAUTION:
When removing the front upper body mount, all other body mount support bolts must be loose before raising the vehicle to prevent permanent structural damage.
NOTE:
Do not reuse body support mounting fasteners. New fasteners must be installed for each fastener that has been removed or loosened.
NOTE:
No lubricants of any kind are to be used during body mount support installation.
- Remove the body support nut.
- To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Remove the body support washer.
- Remove the body support bolt.
- To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Remove the front end sheet metal body support lower mount.
- Loosen but do not remove all of the remaining body bolts in the passenger compartment.
- Carefully raise the vehicle body enough to remove the front end sheet metal body support upper mount.
- Remove the front end sheet metal body support upper mount.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
