Removal and Installation

CAUTION: When removing the front upper body mount, all other body mount support bolts must be loose before raising the vehicle to prevent permanent structural damage.
NOTE: Do not reuse body support mounting fasteners. New fasteners must be installed for each fastener that has been removed or loosened.
NOTE: No lubricants of any kind are to be used during body mount support installation.
  1. Remove the body support nut.
    • To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
  2. Remove the body support washer.
  3. Remove the body support bolt.
    • To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
  4. Remove the front end sheet metal body support lower mount.
  5. Loosen but do not remove all of the remaining body bolts in the passenger compartment.
  6. Carefully raise the vehicle body enough to remove the front end sheet metal body support upper mount.
  7. Remove the front end sheet metal body support upper mount.
  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
