Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the parking brake control. For additional information, refer to PARKING BRAKE CONTROL .
    2. NOTE: The parking brake control take-up spool tab may need to be bent aside to allow the cable to be removed.

  2. Disconnect the front parking brake cables from the parking brake control.
  3. Disconnect the front parking brake cable conduit from the parking brake control.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Test the parking brake system for correct operation.
