Possible Causes

- circuit 1003 (GY/YE) open or short to ground
- circuit 1572 (DG) open, short to ground, or short to voltage
- circuit 1573 (YE) open, short to ground, or short to voltage
- circuit 1576 (TN/BK) open or short to ground
- circuit 1577 (BK) open, short to ground, or short to voltage
- steering position sensor (part of the clockspring)
