Removal and Installation

  1. Drain the cooling system until the degas bottle is empty. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube and the engine air cleaner. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING .
  3. Release the clamp and disconnect the degas bottle upper hose.
  4. Release the clamp and disconnect the degas bottle lower hose.
  5. Remove the bolts and the degas bottle.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
