Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. GEM is located in fuse junction box, under left side of instrument panel. Remove bulkhead connector mounting bolts and disconnect connectors. Remove fuse junction box mounting nuts and bolts. Remove GEM retaining screws. Disconnect GEM harness connectors and remove GEM. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten mounting nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
