Side Crash Sensor: Removal

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
- Pull carpet flap out from under outboard side of front seat to expose side crash sensor. Remove pin-type wire harness retainer from crash sensor. Remove side crash sensor mounting bolts and pull sensor out from under seat. Disconnect electrical connector and remove side crash sensor and bracket from vehicle.
