Removal (2.5L)

  1. Remove air cleaner and duct assembly. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE  under FUEL SYSTEM (GASOLINE ENGINES).
  2. Disconnect accelerator cable from throttle lever. Disconnect cruise control actuator (if equipped). Remove accelerator cable bracket and set aside.
  3. Disconnect electrical connectors and vacuum lines as necessary. Remove 4 throttle body retaining bolts. Remove throttle body assembly.
