Installation (Explorer & Mountaineer)

  1. Clean the fuel pump assembly mounting flange and the fuel tank mounting surfaces.
  2. Install the fuel pump assembly.
    1. Position the fuel pump assembly in the tank.
    2. Align the arrow on the fuel pump flange with the dimple on the fuel tank.
    3. Install the 6 bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the fuel pressure transducer, and connect all hoses and lines (as necessary).
  4. Install the fuel tank. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
