Test Y: Right Side Crash Sensor Mounting Failure (DTC B2440): Description

Restraints Control Module (RCM) monitors 2-wire current loop to right side crash sensor for signal that is out of expected range. If RCM detects an out-of-range signal, indicating a sensor mounting failure, it will store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B2440 in memory and flash Code 43 on AIR BAG warning light.
