Seat Belt PRETENSIONERS

Front seat belt pretensioner is integrated with seat belt retractor or seat belt buckle assembly, depending on model. Pretensioner contains a pyrotechnic device, that when signaled by the Restraints Control Module (RCM), deploys to remove excess webbing from seat belt system, tightening webbing around occupant.
