Diagnostic Monitor: Notes

Improper air bag system operation is possible. Personal injury may result. Diagnostic monitor orientation is critical for proper air bag system operation. If diagnostic monitor mounting and bracket have been damaged, diagnostic monitor must be replaced even if air bags have not deployed. Replace or repair any other damaged air bag system components or wiring that are adjacent to diagnostic monitor.
CAUTION:
Exposure to static electricity can damage diagnostic monitor internal components. Diagnostic monitor malfunction may result. Ensure diagnostic monitor is protected from static electrical charges.
