Removal and Installation

  1. Pry upward on consulate to release it from the floor clips.

  2. Remove the transfer case shift lever.
    1. Remove the shift lever boot screws.
      • To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
    2. Remove the shift lever cover.
    3. Remove the bolt.
      • To install, tighten to 24 Nm (18 lb-ft).
    4. Remove the shift lever.

  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
