Normal Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Ford Pickup. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The operating voltage required to supply the ABS module, hydraulic pump, and isolation valves is between 10 and 17 volts.

Voltage is supplied to the ABS module through circuit 533 (TN/RD). Ground is provided through circuit 530 (LG/YE). The instrument cluster communicates interactively with the other electronic modules using the controller area network (CAN). For additional information about the communication network, refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
