Test K: Low Fuel Indicator Always On

Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect fuel sending unit harness connector C732. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect jumper wire between ground and terminal No. 5 (White/Red wire) at fuel sending unit harness connector C732. See Figure . If low fuel indicator is illuminated and fuel gauge is operating properly, replace instrument cluster and retest system. If low fuel indicator is illuminated and fuel gauge is not operating properly, perform TEST B: FUEL GAUGE READS INACCURATELY  test. If low fuel indicator is not illuminated, system is okay.
