Test J: Low Fuel Indicator Inoperative

Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect fuel sending unit harness connector C732. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If low fuel indicator go on, system is okay at this time. If low fuel indicator is illuminated and fuel gauge is not operating properly, perform TEST B: FUEL GAUGE READS INACCURATELY  test. If low fuel indicator is not illuminated, check LED. If LED is okay, replace instrument cluster.
