Test F: Oil Pressure Warning Always On
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect oil pressure switch harness connector C953. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If instrument cluster oil pressure warning indicator is on, go to next step. If instrument cluster oil pressure warning indicator is off, verify oil pressure with mechanical gauge. If oil pressure is okay, replace oil pressure switch.
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect instrument cluster harness connector C808B. Measure resistance between ground and Black/Green wire terminal at oil pressure switch harness connector C953. If resistance is more than 10 k/ohms, replace instrument cluster printed circuit. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in Black/Green wire.
