Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  .
  2. Separate instrument cluster housing from instrument cluster back plate. Remove speedometer and tachometer. See SPEEDOMETER/ODOMETER  and TACHOMETER  .
  3. Carefully remove temperature gauge retaining screw and temperature gauge assembly by pulling gauge assembly away from instrument cluster back plate. To install, reverse removal procedure.
