Activating System (Century, Grand Prix, Intrigue & Regal)

  1. Make sure AIR BAG fuse is not installed and key is out of ignition switch. On Century and Regal only, connect the driver side air bag 2-pin Yellow SIR connector, if equipped. Connector is located under driver's seat. Install CPA clip.
  2. On all models, connect passenger air bag 2-pin Yellow SIR connector to right of steering column. Install CPA clip. Connect driver air bag 2-pin Yellow SIR connector at base of steering column. Install CPA clip. Install instrument panel sound insulator.
  3. Install AIR BAG fuse in fuse block. Staying well away from inflator modules, turn ignition switch to ON position. Ensure AIR BAG warning light flashes 7 times, and then turns off.
