Moon Roof Height/Alignment

  1. Cycle moon roof from full open to full close position. Moon roof should be flush to 0.04" (1.0 mm) at each front corner, and flush to 0.04" (1.0 mm) at each rear corner. If adjustments are necessary, go to next step.
  2. Remove shield retaining screws along front of opening. Slide opening shield and shade fully rearward to expose glass panel retaining screws. If only front of glass panel is to be adjusted, loosen only front and center retaining screws. If only rear of glass panel is to be adjusted, loosen only rear and center retaining screws.
  3. Loosen appropriate glass panel retaining screws. Move glass panel up or down as necessary to adjust, then tighten retaining screws until they are snug.
  4. To check height, open glass panel about 4" (100 mm), then return it to closed position. Tighten screws to 26 INCH lbs. (3.0 N.m). To complete adjustment, reverse disassembly procedure.
