Removal (4WD Expedition & F150 Pickup)

Raise and support vehicle. Remove front axle housing. See appropriate DIFFERENTIALS article in DRIVE AXLES. Drain engine oil. Remove oil pan retaining bolts in reverse of tightening sequence. See Figure. Remove oil pan.
