Test I: All Warning Indicators Inoperative

Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage at input side of fuse No. 12 (5-amp) in instrument panel fuse box. If battery voltage does not exist, repair power distribution circuit. See appropriate wiring diagram in POWER DISTRIBUTION article in WIRING DIAGRAMS. If battery voltage exists, go to next step.
Remove fuse No. 12 from instrument panel fuse box. Inspect fuse. If fuse is okay, go to step. If fuse is blown, go to step 4 .
Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Install fuse No. 12. Disconnect instrument cluster harness connector C250. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage at terminal No. 10 (Red/Yellow wire) at instrument cluster harness connector C250. See Figure . If battery voltage exists, replace instrument cluster printed circuit. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in Red/Yellow wire.
Ensure fuse No. 12 is still removed. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 10 (Red/Yellow wire) at instrument cluster harness connector C250. See Figure . If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, repair intermittent short to ground in Red/Yellow wire or short to ground in instrument cluster as necessary. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in Red/Yellow wire.
