Speedometer Reads Inaccurately

  1. Ensure tires are proper size recommended by factory. If tires are proper size, go to next step. If tires are not proper size, replace tires and retest.
  2. Check accuracy of odometer. See ODOMETER TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS. If odometer is accurate, go to appropriate SPEEDOMETER/ODOMETER INOPERATIVE test. If odometer is not accurate, replace speedometer.
