Air Bag Indicator Inoperative

  1. Remove air bag indicator bulb. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check for continuity between air bag indicator bulb terminals. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace bulb. Retest system.
  2. Visually inspect instrument cluster printed circuit for damage, cracks or burn marks. If instrument cluster printed circuit is okay, see AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. If instrument cluster printed circuit is damaged, cracked or burned, instrument cluster printed circuit. See PRINTED CIRCUIT  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
