Low Coolant Warning Indicator Never/Always On

  1. Inspect engine coolant level cold. If engine coolant level is above full cold mark, go to step 3). If engine coolant level engine coolant level is below full cold mark, go to next step.
  2. Fill engine coolant to appropriate level. Start engine and observe engine coolant indicator. If engine coolant indicator stays on for 3 seconds and goes out, system is okay. If engine coolant indicator does not stay on for 3 seconds and goes out, go to next step.
  3. If engine coolant indicator stays on, go to next step. If engine coolant indicator does not stay on, go to step 5).
  4. Disconnect coolant reservoir sensor connector. Turn ignition on. If engine coolant indicator turns on and stays on, repair Light Blue wire between coolant reservoir sensor connector and instrument cluster connector C251 terminal No. 6. See Figure and Figure . If engine coolant indicator does not turn on and stay on, go to next step.
