Low Fuel Indicator Always On

Turn ignition off. Disconnect fuel pump sending unit connector located under rear seat. Turn ignition on. Connect jumper wire between ground and fuel pump sending unit connector terminal No. 5 (White/Red wire). See Figure . If low fuel indicator is illuminated and fuel gauge is operating properly, replace instrument cluster and retest system. If low fuel indicator is illuminated and fuel gauge is not operating properly, go to FUEL GAUGE READS INACCURATELY test. If low fuel indicator is not illuminated, system is okay.
