Removal & Installation

On 3.0L 8-valve engines, oil pressure sending unit is located on right rear of engine block. On 3.0L 16-valve engines, oil pressure sending unit is located on left side of engine block forward of oil filter. On 3.4L SHO models, oil pressure sending unit is located in oil filter adapter on left side of engine compartment. When installing sending unit, use thread sealant and tighten to 9-12 ft. lbs. (12-16 N.m).
