Test F: No Response To Diagnosis

  1. Check Battery Voltage

    Ensure battery voltage more than 11 volts. go to next step.

  2. Check Fuse No. 12

    Check power distribution box fuse No. 12 (20 Amp). If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is bad, go to step 7).

  3. Check Fuse No. 14

    Check fuse junction panel fuse No. 14 (5 Amp). If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is bad, go to step 8).

  4. Check Continuity-Circuit 57 (Black)

    Disconnect SARC module connectors. Turn ignition off. Check continuity between SARC module connector 451 pin No. 32 (Black) and ground. If resistance is 3 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is more than 3 ohms, repair circuit 57 (Black). Repeat self test. See SELF TEST  .

  5. Check Continuity-Circuit 418 (Dark Green/Yellow)

    Remove Fuse No. 12. Check continuity between output side of fuse and SARC module connector 450 pin No. 1 (Dark Green/Yellow). See Figure . If resistance is 3 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is more than 3 ohms, repair circuit 418 (Dark Green/Yellow). Repeat self test. See SELF TEST  .

  6. Check Continuity-Circuit 49 (Orange)

    Remove Fuse No. 14. Check continuity between output side of fuse and SARC module connector 450 pin No. 4 (Orange). If resistance is 3 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is more than 3 ohms, repair circuit 49 (Orange). Repeat self test. See SELF TEST  .

  7. Check Short To Ground-Circuit 418 (Dark Green/Yellow)

    Disconnect SARC module connectors. Turn ignition off. Check continuity between SARC module connector 450 pin No. 1 (Dark Green/Yellow) and ground. If resistance is 10,000 ohms or less, repair short to ground on circuit 418 (Dark Green/Yellow). Repeat self test. See SELF TEST  . If resistance is more than 10,000 ohms, go to next step.

  8. Short To Ground-Circuit 49 (Orange)

    Check continuity between SARC module connector 450 pin No. 4 (Orange) and SARC module connector 451 pin No. 32 (Black). If resistance is 10,000 ohms or less, repair short to ground on circuit 49 (Orange). Repeat self test. See SELF TEST  . If resistance is more than 10,000 ohms, go to next step.

  9. Check SARC Module

    Reconnect SARC connectors. Check continuity between connector 450 pin No. 1 (Dark Green/Yellow) and 451 pin No. 32 (Black). Check continuity between connector 450 pin No. 4 (Orange) and 451 pin No. 32 (Black). If resistance is 10,000 ohms or less on either check, replace SARC module. Repeat self test. See SELF TEST  . If resistance is more than 10,000 ohms, replace fuse No. 43 (20 Amp). Repeat self test. See SELF TEST.
