Test F: No Response To Diagnosis
- Check Battery Voltage
Ensure battery voltage more than 11 volts. go to next step.
- Check Fuse No. 12
Check power distribution box fuse No. 12 (20 Amp). If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is bad, go to step 7).
- Check Fuse No. 14
Check fuse junction panel fuse No. 14 (5 Amp). If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is bad, go to step 8).
- Check Continuity-Circuit 57 (Black)
Disconnect SARC module connectors. Turn ignition off. Check continuity between SARC module connector 451 pin No. 32 (Black) and ground. If resistance is 3 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is more than 3 ohms, repair circuit 57 (Black). Repeat self test. See SELF TEST
.
- Check Continuity-Circuit 418 (Dark Green/Yellow)
Remove Fuse No. 12. Check continuity between output side of fuse and SARC module connector 450 pin No. 1 (Dark Green/Yellow). See Figure
. If resistance is 3 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is more than 3 ohms, repair circuit 418 (Dark Green/Yellow). Repeat self test. See SELF TEST
.
- Check Continuity-Circuit 49 (Orange)
Remove Fuse No. 14. Check continuity between output side of fuse and SARC module connector 450 pin No. 4 (Orange). If resistance is 3 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is more than 3 ohms, repair circuit 49 (Orange). Repeat self test. See SELF TEST
.
- Check Short To Ground-Circuit 418 (Dark Green/Yellow)
Disconnect SARC module connectors. Turn ignition off. Check continuity between SARC module connector 450 pin No. 1 (Dark Green/Yellow) and ground. If resistance is 10,000 ohms or less, repair short to ground on circuit 418 (Dark Green/Yellow). Repeat self test. See SELF TEST
. If resistance is more than 10,000 ohms, go to next step.
- Short To Ground-Circuit 49 (Orange)
Check continuity between SARC module connector 450 pin No. 4 (Orange) and SARC module connector 451 pin No. 32 (Black). If resistance is 10,000 ohms or less, repair short to ground on circuit 49 (Orange). Repeat self test. See SELF TEST
. If resistance is more than 10,000 ohms, go to next step.
- Check SARC Module
Reconnect SARC connectors. Check continuity between connector 450 pin No. 1 (Dark Green/Yellow) and 451 pin No. 32 (Black). Check continuity between connector 450 pin No. 4 (Orange) and 451 pin No. 32 (Black). If resistance is 10,000 ohms or less on either check, replace SARC module. Repeat self test. See SELF TEST
. If resistance is more than 10,000 ohms, replace fuse No. 43 (20 Amp). Repeat self test. See SELF TEST.
