DTC B1933 - High Resistance Or Open In Passenger-Side Air Bag Circuit: Description

While the ignition is in RUN position, air bag diagnostic monitor runs periodic checks on resistance of driver-side and passenger-side air bag circuits. Normal resistance from terminal C276-5, circuit 607 (Light Blue/Orange wire) (passenger-side air bag feed) to terminal C276-4, circuit 616 (Pink/Black wire) (passenger-side air bag return) is 0.9-1.2 ohms. This resistance total results from the sum of components in the circuit. If resistance across these two terminals exceeds 3.0 ohms, DTC B1933 will be stored in memory and AIR BAG warning light will flash Code 33. If condition is serviced or corrected, DTC B1933 will be stored in memory.
