Front Cover Oil Seal: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove accessory drive belts. Raise and support vehicle. Remove right front wheel.
  2. Remove 4 retaining bolts and crankshaft pulley. Remove crankshaft damper retaining bolt. Using Crankshaft Damper Remover (T58P-6316-D) and Adapter (T82L-6316-B), remove crankshaft damper. Using Seal Remover (T77L-9533-B), carefully remove seal from front cover to prevent damaging sealing surfaces.
