RADIATOR - 3.0L OHV MOTOR (VINs 1, 2 & U): Installation

  1. Position radiator.
  2. Position radiator support bracket and tighten nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Position A/C condenser core and tighten lower A/C condenser core bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Position transmission oil cooler tube and install transmission oil cooler tube bracket. Tighten nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Install lower transmission oil cooler tube.
  6. Install lower transmission oil cooler tube clips.
  7. Install lower radiator hose.
  8. Install radiator mounting bracket assembly. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  9. Install radiator splash shield.
  10. Lower vehicle.
  11. Install upper transmission oil cooler tube.
  12. Install upper transmission oil cooler tube clips.
  13. Install upper A/C condenser core retaining bolts. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  14. Install radiator overflow hose. Tighten clamps securely.
  15. Install upper radiator hose.
  16. Position constant control relay module and clip securely.
  17. Install BATTERY TRAY .
  18. Install battery.
  19. Connect battery ground cable.
  20. Fill and bleed cooling system.
  21. Start engine and inspect for leaks.
