Removal & Installation (Sable & Taurus)
- Open moon roof fully. Disconnect air deflector arms by pulling upward on rear of arm, disengaging from track retainer, and rotating arm to separate from air deflector.
- Remove 8 screws from moon roof rails. Note position of lifter arm and guide ramp for installation reference. Connect air deflector arms. Close outer glass panel. Remove motor. Remove front rail screws. Protect roof surface. Lift and slide panel from vehicle.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Synchronize motor before installation. See MOTOR SYNCHRONIZATION under ADJUSTMENTS. Adjust glass panel. See ADJUSTMENTS .
