Removal & Installation (Mark VIII)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove left instrument panel cover. Disconnect courtesy light from left instrument panel insulator. Remove steering column cover. Depress ignition switch lock cylinder tab while pulling out on lock cylinder. Remove ignition switch bezel and disconnect ignition switch connector. Disconnect shift lock cable from ignition switch/lock assembly. Remove mounting screws and ignition switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
