Removal & Installation (Mark VIII)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove drive belt. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect power steering pump reservoir hose from pump. Drain reservoir. Disconnect power steering control valve actuator harness connector.
- Remove power steering pressure hose and bracket from pump and position out of way. Working through left front wheel well, remove 2 top pump bolts. Working from below vehicle, remove 2 lower pump bolt and pump. To install pump, reverse removal procedure. Refill and bleed hydraulic system.
