Removal & Installation (Continental)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Turn air suspension service switch off. Air suspension service switch is located in luggage compartment. Remove radiator upper sight shield. Remove accessory drive belt. Evacuate A/C system. See appropriate A/C-HEATER SYSTEMS article in the AIR CONDITIONING & HEATER section.
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove 5 push pins and 3 screws from lower radiator air deflector. Remove lower radiator air deflector. Remove power steering return hose from combination power steering and transmission fluid cooler.
- Drain power steering system and reinstall return hose. Remove A/C manifold, tube and A/C compressor. Disconnect power steering pressure hose and reservoir pump hose from pump. Remove 4 pump-to-engine bolts and pump. To install pump, reverse removal procedure. Refill and bleed hydraulic system.
