Removal & Installation: Thermostat: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301).
  2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to the procedure in this section.
  3. Remove the lower radiator hose (8286) from the water hose connection (8592).
  4. Remove the two water hose connection bolts and remove the water hose connection.

  5. Remove the water thermostat (8575) from the vehicle.
