Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Loosen hood release handle nut. Remove instrument panel lower side panel screw.
  2. Remove LH foot lamp from instrument panel lower side panel by turning lamp 1/4 turn counterclockwise and pulling straight out. Remove instrument panel lower side panel.
  3. Remove 5 instrument cluster housing screws. Disconnect light switch rheostat resistor electrical connector. Remove instrument cluster housing.
  4. Remove 2 screws at lower edge of instrument cluster. Remove 3 screws from upper instrument cluster hood. Remove instrument cluster. Unplug harness connectors from back of instrument cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure. Reconnect negative battery cable. Check all gauges for proper operation.
