Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  .
  2. Separate instrument cluster housing from instrument cluster back plate. Remove speedometer. See SPEEDOMETER/ODOMETER  .
    CAUTION: Tachometer is calibrated at factory. Rough handling can disturb calibration.
  3. Remove tachometer retaining screw and remove tachometer. Grasp tachometer at top and bottom using fingers only. Carefully pull tachometer away from instrument cluster back plate. To install, reverse removal procedure.
