Description & Operation
Instrument cluster contains a speedometer with odometer and trip odometer, fuel gauge and temperature gauge. Warning lights are in various locations on cluster. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . Instrument cluster and panel will not illuminate when headlight switch is in OFF position.
When ignition switch is turned to ON position, the following warning indicators will light momentarily for function proof:
- Air Bag Readiness
- Brake System
- Charging System
- MIL (CHECK ENGINE)
- Door Ajar
- ABS
- Safety Belt
- Overdrive OFF
- Oil Pressure Warning
- Traction Control
