Description & Operation
WARNING:
Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article. Refer to the following list. DO NOT
apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.

Analog instrument cluster is equipped with speedometer, tachometer (if equipped), voltmeter, fuel, oil pressure and temperature gauges. All models use magnetic gauges to monitor fuel quantity, coolant temperature and oil pressure. When ignition switch is turned to ON position, the following warning indicators will light momentarily as a bulb check:
- Air Bag Readiness
- Brake System
- Charging System
- MIL (CHECK ENGINE)
- Door Ajar
- Rear ABS
- Safety Belt
