Front Brake Caliper & Pads: Removal

Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheels. Disconnect brake hose banjo bolt from caliper and discard copper washers. Mark caliper as right or left for installation reference. Remove caliper bolts. See Figure . Pivot and slide caliper off guide pin. Remove brake pads, anti-rattle shims and brake pad clips. Remove guide pin dust boots and caliper guide pin bushings.
