Activating Safety Belt Warning Chime

When passive restraint control module determines that a warning is required, the audible chime output (Pin No. 1) supplies a ground to safety belt warning chime.

When the ignition key is in ON position (Voltage to Pin No. 25), and either shoulder belt is spooled in (Pin Nos. 14 or 15 floating/not grounded), the chime output is activated (Pin No. 1 grounded) for five seconds. If this output has been triggered and timed out, it can be triggered again by spooling in other shoulder belt (floating/grounding Pin Nos. 14 or 15).
