Extension Housing: Installation

  1. Ensure parking pawl and spring are installed in housing correctly and are preloaded. Install new housing gasket and position extension housing on case.
  2. Ensure parking pawl actuating rod is seated in extension housing guide cup bore. Install and tighten bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
