Valve Body: Disassembly
- Remove solenoid bracket bolts and solenoids. SS1 and TCC solenoids may pop out of bore when bracket is removed. Convertor modulator valve may come out when TCC solenoid is removed. Remove 3 Torx bolts, separator plate and gasket.
- Note location and remove check balls, extension housing lube orifice, relief valves with springs, and EPC limit circuit screen. See Figure . Remove retaining plates, dowels, plugs and valves with springs from valve body. See Figure . See related components under CLEANING & INSPECTION .
