Forward Clutch Assembly

Inspect clutch cylinder thrust surfaces, piston, bore and clutch plates for scores or burrs. Minor burrs and scoring may be polished with crocus cloth. Inspect piston check ball for proper seating. Check clutch springs for distortion or cracks. Check clutch plates for flatness and free movement on clutch hub. Check clutch hub thrust surfaces and splines for wear or scoring. Inspect input shaft for damaged or worn splines.
