Loosen yoke plug using socket. Center rack by counting number of complete revolutions of input shaft and dividing by 2. Tighten yoke plug to 45-50 INCH lbs. (5.0-5.6 N.m).
  3. Back off yoke plug 1/8 turn (44 degrees minimum and 54 degrees maximum) until torque required to turn input shaft is 7-18 INCH lbs. (.78-2.03 N.m). Hold yoke plug and tighten yoke plug lock nut to 44-66 ft. lbs. (60-89 N.m). Do not allow yoke plug to move while tightening lock nut. Recheck input shaft torque after tightening lock nut.
