Diagnostic Monitor: Removal

  1. Before proceeding, read and understand all air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS  . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  . Diagnostic monitor is located on left side of steering column under instrument panel.
  2. Disconnect diagnostic monitor connectors. Release diagnostic monitor retaining tabs. Slide monitor from bracket. Remove diagnostic monitor.
